The Chester Agricultural and Mechanical Society is comprised of approximately 35 Officers, Directors, and Superintendents. These individuals provide 100% of the management and operation of the Chester Fair, and the maintenance and improvements of their 17-acre fairgrounds. None of our Officers, Directors, and Superintendents receives any compensation for their time and labor. The Society meets every third Monday of the month except for December. Work crews are on the grounds most Saturday morning's throughout the year. The Chester Fair is located on Kirtland Terrace, off RT. 154, in Chester, CT.
