COMIX AT FOXWOODS UPCOMING SHOWS

Comix At Foxwoods Headliners
Lenny Clarke (Thurs 3/28 at 8 p.m.; Fri 3/29 at 8 p.m. and Sat 3/30 at 8 p.m. & 10:30 p.m.)
·         Best known for both his role as Uncle Teddy on FX’s hit series, “Rescue Me,” and his thick Boston accent, Lenny Clarke has also starred in his own sitcom, “Lenny,” and appeared in “Contest Searchlight,” “The Job,” “The John Larroquette Show” and “It's All Relative.” Also no stranger to the big screen, he can be seen in such films as “Monument Ave.,” “Fever Pitch” and “Southie.”
·         Clarke’s last show will be not for the faint of heart or easily offended, presenting a “Nasty Show with Lenny Clarke.”
·         Tickets are $25, $50 and $60 in advance
Rachel Feinstein (Thurs 4/4 at 8 p.m.; Fri 4/5 at 8 p.m. and Sat 4/6 at 8 p.m.)
·         “Last Comic Standing” Season 7 Finalist, Rachel Feinstein, has been featured on “Russell Simmon's Presents Live at the El Rey,” and had her own half hour special “Comedy Central Presents: Rachel Feinstein.” She has voiced characters on Adult Swim's “Venture Brothers,” ComedyCentral.comʼs “Samurai Love God” and Spike.comʼs “Battle Pope,” and appeared on VH1ʼs “Jewtastic” and CNNʼs “Not Just Another Cable News Show.”

Comix Presents: Theater Shows
Amy Schumer (Sat 3/30 at 8 p.m., Fox Theater)
·         Amy Schumer is the star, writer and creator of “Inside Amy,” premiering next year on Comedy Central. Coming off her one-hour stand-up special, “Mostly Sex Stuff,” which became Comedy Central’s second-highest rated special in 2012, she was then featured on the network’s “Roast of Roseanne” following her breakout performance on last year’s “Roast of Charlie Sheen.” Most recently seen on FX’s “Louie,” she will next appear in season two of HBO’s “Girls.”

Anjelah Johnson (Fri 4/12 at 9 p.m., Fox Theater)
·         Anjelah Johnson’s hugely successful, viral comedy video, “Nail Salon,” was one of the most-viewed YouTube and Google videos of 2007, and propelled her career to new heights. The ALMA Award nominee’s credits include guest starring on “The Shield” and “Love Inc.,” and co-starring in the feature films “The Box,” “Our Family Wedding” and “Alvin & the Chipmunks 2 – The Squeakuel.”

Jim Jefferies (Sat 4/13 at 8 p.m. & 11 p.m., Fox Theater)
·         One of the most sought-after comedians in show business, Jim Jefferies hits the road on his third world tour, “Jim Jefferies: Fully Functional.” Jefferies takes on his favorite subjects of religion, politics and sex in front of sold-out crowds at renowned festivals such as Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival.
·         Tickets are $30, $45 and $60 in advance

Dueling Comix Pianos (Fri 3/29 at 10:30 p.m.)
·         This monthly favorite act is a high octane entertainment experience where guests are brought on stage to become part of the show. The engaging pianist pair performs fan favorites as a surprise rock star pianist joins premier dueling pianist, Billy Musto, in this crazy night of hysteria.
·         Tickets are $15 and $25 in advance

Comix One Night Stand Easter Special with Pat Oates (Sun 3/31 at 8 p.m.)
·         Comix favorite, Pat Oates, invites guests to come get their drink on and "spend the night" with him for a “One Night Stand Easter Special.” Come witness Oates’ high-energy storytelling, perfectly complemented by his impeccable crowd involvement that is regarded by his peers as second to none, for this crazy night of laughs.
·         Tickets are $15 and $25 in advance
Big Apple Comix with Josh Spear (Wed 4/3 at 8 p.m.)
·         Big Apple comedy guru, Josh Spear, will headline this show of NYC’s finest, hitting a range of topics with his distinct voice and perspective, including urban, nightlife, pop-culture, suburban, college and street-life. One of the most natural conversational comics you’ll ever come across, he is a clear and concise speaker regarding both cultural and private matters. Spear has recently appeared on CBS’s “Early Show,” NBC’s “Today Show”, OWN’s “Around the World with Zach” and TLC’s “The Little Couple.”

Latino First Friday Comix & DJ Party (Fri 4/5 at 10:30 p.m.)
·         Join the Latino Kings of Comix during “Latino Comix Comedy First Friday’s” presented by Luna Production and Comix. Start the night off with the region’s hottest Latino funny guys for the 21 and over, rated “R” show, and wrap up an evening to remember with a DJ dance party featuring a rotation of special guests. 
·         Tickets are $20 in advance
New Jack Swing DJ Party (Sat 4/6 at 10:30 p.m.)
·         Co-sponsored by Philly’s of Norwich, Tru School brings Comix another classic event dedicated to the golden era of hip-hop and R&B that helped influence the stars of today. Hot 93.7’s own DJ Bigg Man will be spinning nothing but the classics at this theme party, with a retro late 80s or early 90s dress code.
·         The first 50 tickets purchased will be entered for the grand prize raffle

Jim Spinnato’s R-Rated Hypnotic Hysteria (Sun 4/7 at 8 p.m.)
·         New England’s premier stage hypnotist and comedian, Jim Spinnato, will hypnotize audience members, while creating hysterical R-rated situations and providing laughs for all. Known for his combination of music, comedy, hypnosis and audience participation, Spinnato always makes for one can’t miss show.
·         Tickets are $15, $25 and $35 in advance
