Shows Hero Shows Hero Shows Hero Paul Anka Live in Concert  Songwriting and performing are a few of the attributes of Paul Anka. By the '70s, the success of "My Way" and a string of hits like "(You're) Having My Baby" confirmed his status as an icon of popular music. Anka's recent albums - Rock Swings and now Classic Songs, My Way - ingeniously featured songs originally created by some of the biggest rock performers of the day. The twist: Paul Anka did the songs 'his way.' His goal: "taking great songs and rework them so they're natural for me." The songs that made the cut included Bon Jovi's "It's My Life," Lionel Richie's "Hello" and Eric Clapton's "Tears in Heaven." Even more dramatic were his transformations of "Wonderwall" by Oasis, "Black Hole Sun" by Soundgarden and Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit."  Show Information May 25, 8:00 PM MGM Grand Theater $45 - $65

You can't miss the fact that Lee Brice is Country all the way. It's in his voice - think of it as honey trickling through lines of melody etched in leather - and in the images it conjures, of "Country girls and redneck boys" anticipating the night to come in the sunset glow of a Dairy Queen ("Sumter County") and of growing up "on the edge of a cornfield" ("Picture of Me").

Mystic Seaport to Host Annual Lobster Days May 26-28

All Proceeds to Support Mystic Rotary Club's Community Charities

Mystic, Conn. - Mystic Seaport plans to kick off the summer season and prepare for the cracking of thousands of lobster claws at the 27th annual Lobster Days during Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday through Monday, May 26-28.

Members of the Mystic Rotary Club will serve lobsters-in-the-rough from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Diners can enjoy their picnic-style meal under Mystic Seaport's open-air Boat Shed where they can watch boats cruising on the Mystic River.

More than 3,000 lobsters will be cooked and served over the course of the weekend with all proceeds going to support the Rotary Club's community organizations and projects.

In addition to a great meal, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the water as the Museum's boat rental dock opens for the season, and the 1908 steamboat Sabino and catboat Breck Marshall will be operating a regular schedule of brief cruises on the Mystic River.

On Monday, May 28, the Museum will hold its annual Decoration Day ceremony. Costumed role-players will conduct an 1876 tribute and procession to honor those killed in the Civil War beginning at 10:30 a.m.
