Local History Fair @ The Groton Public Library
The Groton Public Library is hosting a Local History Fair on September 17 from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. Some groups scheduled to attend the Fair include: Groton Historical Society, Mystic River Historical Society, Indian & Colonial Research Center, Friends of Fort Griswold and DAR—the Anna Warner Bailey Chapter, Avery Memorial Association and the New London County Historical Society.
The public is invited to speak with representatives to discover what their organizations offer or just to reminisce about the “good old days.” The groups will be selling books and memorabilia. There will be a drawing of door prizes for those who attend.
