Sun, Sand and Music: Misquamicut Announces an Island-style FallFest!
Music Headliners include members of The Hollies, The Knack, Iron Butterfly, Steppenwolf and Blue Oyster Cult.
The 2011 beach season never ends at Westerly’s Misquamicut Beach. Brought to this beautiful beach in Westerly by The Misquamicut Business Association, Misquamicut FallFest kicks off a jam-packed weekend of live entertainment, food, rides, crafts and more on Friday, September 16th at 5pm, with a performance by The Classic Rock All Stars at 8pm and a world-class fireworks display at 9:30pm. From then, until 5pm Sunday, FallFest features high-gear entertainment and activities for the whole family!
Besides a full line-up of entertainment, the FallFest features an outdoor international food court and beer and wine garden, a chock-full midway of rides and games, a petting zoo and pony rides, a Classic Car Cruise, a NASCAR racing car AND the “Surftown Half” which will be a half marathon starting and ending at the Festival.
