Mystic Seaport to Lower Admission to $11 on 11/11/11

Mystic, Conn. – Mystic Seaport will offer a special discount admission of $11 this Friday, November 11. Recognizing that the date combination of 11/11/11 will not come around again for 100 years, the Museum will charge a flat fee of $11 for all paid admission on that day.

“We feel this is a fun way to mark a once-in-a-lifetime event,” said Mystic Seaport president Steve White. “Sailors are known for being a superstitious lot, so we figure we shouldn’t let an auspicious number like this go by without doing something special.”

The special admission applies to all adult, senior, youth, student, military and group visitors. Kids ages 5 and under are free. The $11 admission price cannot be combined with any other discounts or special offers.
