COMIX at Foxwoods presents Whacky Wednesdays, a new hilarious comedy show that showcases yet undiscovered comedic talent. Seasoned funnyman Howie Mason, who has opened for huge comedic names including Lisa Lampanelli and Joe Rogan, headlines on November 2nd with his signature mix of personal anecdotes and abrasive everyday observations. Also featured this Wednesday is comedian Vinnie Pagano who is making a name for himself using his unique songwriting and spot on impressions to entertain audiences all over New England. New Haven’s rising star, Kevin Fitzgerald, is set to host.

In 2010, the acrid Australian sold out Montreal’s “Just for Laughs” comedy festival which lead the popular event to add additional shows. Based on the success of his American debut on HBO’s “Down and Dirty with Jim Norton”, the esteemed network offered Jefferies a solo one hour stand-up special “Jim Jefferies: I Swear to God.” His newest comedy special “ALCOHOLOCAUST” on Showtime is receiving rave reviews from his Carlin-esque-storytelling loving fans. New England comedy native and show host Mike Koutrobis has opened for comedic greats such as Lenny Clarke and Robert Kelly, and appeared in big screen hits like Bride Wars, Here Comes the Boom and The Invention of Lying. In the feature role will be master salesman and motivator Tom Hayes, who makes light of life’s challenges based on his own experience of losing a leg to childhood cancer. Headlining is Stephen Bjork, a comedian best known for his Clean Comedy that not only omits the F-bombs but can produce a laugh from all age groups. And the opening comic is Kyle Crawford, whose everyman attitude and tongue in cheek observations from the mind of a New Hampshirite are sure to split sides.
