This week at Ocean Beach Park!
Its only a matter of time before we see the much dreaded yellow busses take over the roads every morning and afternoon. This is the final week of our full time nightly entertainment so take advantage of it by turning off that TV and spending some quality time outside on the boardwalk !
On Monday night, August 13, join us for our KOOL101 Classic Car Cruise night featuring great oldies music, $2.00 rides, $2.00 mini golf games and the greatest in old cars and motorcycles. Splash for less cash continues Monday night on the Waterslide for just $10.00.
This week we've got a special treat for you during Cruise Night as Veronica Ballestrini takes the Boardwalk stage at 7:00 with special guest Shay Mooney Don't miss this great free show ! Our facepainters will be back this week for the young children as well.
On Tuesday night August 14, we'll conclude this seasons Groton Cinemas Beach Blanket movie series featuring Big Miracle. This is the amazing true story of a family of whales trapped by rapidly forming ice in the Arctic Circle. Can the Alaskan natives, oil tycoons, Russians and American military set aside their differences to free them? The movie is rated PG and will start at 8:30. It will be a great experience to watch this one on the beach and our last for the season so don't miss it.
On Wednesday August 15, the Boardwalk Magic series continues at 7:00 on the Boardwalk stage with magic by Zach Ivins, who is an award-winning magician dedicated to bringing quality family entertainment to all ages. Zach's shows are filled with fun, laughter and MAGIC!
On Thursday night, Aug 16 from 6:30-9:30, Bill Rinoski's Sock Hop continues live on the boardwalk stage. So many prizes for all the kids. What could be better?
If you are watching tv on thursday Aug 16 or friday Aug 17, tune into MTV. Between 3:35 and 4:00 in the afternoon there will be a portion of program that was filmed right here at Ocean Beach Park !
On FIREWORKS ! Friday Night August 17, we've got a real treat for you. At 8:00 join us at the Boardwalk Stage for Beatles Tribute Band Ticket to Ride. Take a trip back in time with one of New England's most authentic Beatles tribute bands. They use only authentic equipment to play the music as it was originally presented. You'll really think you are at a Beatles Concert. At 9:00 we'll all enjoy our last Fireworks presentation for 2012. Don't miss this one.
On Saturday night Aug 18th join us for Q105 Ocean Beach Park Karaoke on the boardwalk stage starting at 6:30. We've seen so much talent already.
As a reminder, in two weeks on Monday Aug 27 we look forward to a great performance during cruise night by The Heartbeat Jazz Band...Dixieland at its best
